Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology

Alpona Akter Nisi, a 35-week pregnant mother, has been diagnosed with a breech presentation, where the baby’s feet or pelvis are positioned downward instead of the head. This condition poses a high risk of complications such as umbilical cord prolapse, birth injury, or stillbirth if not managed properly. With timely medical supervision and a planned cesarean delivery, both mother and baby can be safely protected. Immediate and careful monitoring is crucial to ensure a positive outcome for both.

Thank you for saving this life!

Background

Most Alpona Akter Nisi, a 19-year-old first-time mother, comes from a very poor family of six who survive on her father’s small income of only 9,000 Taka a month. Her father, Md. Aminur Rahman, works as a farmer, while her mother, Alema Begum, struggles to manage the household with limited means. Since her husband abandoned her three months ago, Alpona has been living with her parents, dreaming of giving birth to a healthy baby despite their hardships. Gentle and hopeful by nature, she spends her time cooking and helping her family, but her joy has turned to fear after doctors found her baby in a dangerous breech position. Without timely medical treatment and a possible cesarean delivery, both Alpona and her unborn child could face life-threatening complications — a tragedy her struggling family cannot afford to bear.

Medical history

Most Alpona Akter Nisi was admitted to the hospital on September 26 , 2025, with a diagnosis of Breech Presentation. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby. Both mother and newborn were discharged on October 01, 2025, in good health. Her mother and mother in law came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic and, Md Abdullah Miah for their treatment and support. Her mother in law was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Prognosis

With a timely caesarean section, Most. Alpona Akter Nisi and her baby have a high chance of a safe delivery, minimizing the risks associated with breech presentation. Proper surgical intervention can prevent life-threatening complications such as birth trauma, cord prolapse, or stillbirth. The procedure will allow the baby to be born healthy and reduce the physical stress and danger to the mother, especially given her previous caesarean and obstetric history. If left untreated, both mother and child could face severe, potentially fatal outcomes, turning what should be a joyful birth into a critical medical emergency. Early intervention is therefore crucial to safeguard the lives and future health of both mother and baby.
