Ruth’s parents live in a remote, mountainous area with rocky, steep terrain that makes farming and business activities very challenging. Her mother relies on small-scale farming on a plot of land smaller than a quarter of an acre. The family uses stream water for drinking, washing, and all domestic needs, and there are days when they are unable to afford even a single meal. Ruth was brought to the facility in labor by her mother, presenting with lower abdominal pain, backache, and headache. On examination, she was noted to have vaginal fluid discharge and bleeding. She was diagnosed with labor complicated by malpresentation, a condition where the baby is positioned abnormally, leading to prolonged and painful labor and making normal delivery risky. The medical team recommended an emergency cesarean section as the safest option to protect the lives of both mother and baby. The surgery was performed successfully, and both Ruth and her baby recovered well postoperatively.

Ruth was brought to the facility in labour by her mother. She was complaining of severe lower abdominal pain associated with backache and headache. On examination she drainage liquid and p.v bleeding, was diagnosed with labour pain in malpresentation. The condition can be dangerous on normal delivery, therefore for the avoidance of risks the emergency ceaserian section was contacted. The procedure was successful both mother and the baby were doing well and discharged on a stable condition.

The prognosis is good. both mother and the baby are stable following the successful emergency ceaserian section as the safest method. With proper post operative care, enough rest, close motoring and follow -up, she expected to fully recovered without complications.with continued support on her physical and emotional well-being will help her to recover smoothly and to take good care of her child.
