Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Habiba is 1 years old girl child, she is living with her parents, father is a small scale farmer and the mother is a house wife, she has 4 other siblings. Habiba started having fever watery stool, fever, cough, weakness, catarrh/rhinorrea, and low appetite, there is associated body pain. Some paracetamol syrup was given to lessen the pain but patient was still not responding positively to drug and the parents do not have the means for medical bills. They were informed about Helpster Charity at Albishir Clinic and they came for proper evaluation. Upon presentation at our hospital, and after further evaluation, she was diagnosed with RTI and malaria.
Medical history
Patient is a 1 year old female child presented with fever, cough, low appetite and generalized body pain. She was admitted and diagnosed with Malaria and respiratory tract infection. Treatment commenced with injection antimalarials, injection antibiotics and other supportive care. She was discharged when she did well and became stable with some take home orals and was scheduled for follow-up. They are so happy for the support given by Helpster Charity.
Prognosis
With prompt diagnosis and appropriate treatment, Habiba's prognosis is favorable. She is expected to recover fully, as both respiratory tract infection and malaria respond well to antibiotics or antimalarial therapy alongside supportive care. However, if treatment is delayed, complications such as pneumonia, severe malaria, or anemia may occur, particularly in vulnerable individuals.
