Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Amir Hamza, a cheerful 4-year-old boy who loves playing with his sister and enjoying his mother’s cooking, was recently diagnosed with Dengue Fever, experiencing fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, and cough. He lives with his parents in a crowded rental home, where his father earns only 7,000 BDT per month, barely enough to cover daily necessities. Despite the seriousness of his condition, his family cannot afford admission to a tertiary hospital for proper treatment, putting Amir at risk of severe complications such as dehydration, bleeding, or even life-threatening shock. Desperate to save their son, they sought care from a pediatrician and later approached Narayanganj Poly Clinic, while also appealing to Helpster for urgent support. Without timely medical intervention, Amir’s life and health could be gravely endangered, leaving his young dreams and vibrant spirit at risk.
