Shagari Korami is a bright and cheerful 9-year-old boy who loves playing football and making toy cars. He is polite, curious, and loved by his friends and teachers. Shagari Korami developed a high fever, abdominal pain, and convulsions accompanied by epigastric pain described as burning and radiating to the back. The epigastric discomfort was temporarily relieved by food intake or the use of antacids. He was then brought to our hospital. Upon presentation at our clinic and after further evaluation, he was diagnosed with severe malaria and peptic ulcer disease.

Shagari Korami received comprehensive medical treatment, including antimalarial medications, pain relief, intravenous fluids, and supportive care. He was closely monitored throughout his admission, with regular assessment of his vital signs and response to treatment. His fever subsided, abdominal pain reduced significantly, and his overall condition improved steadily. He responded well to treatment and is recovering satisfactorily under medical supervision, with continued medications and follow-up recommended to ensure complete recovery.

Koran is suffering from severe malaria and typhoid and peptic ulcer disease which caused her severe ill health and affected her clinical condition. believe that with timely and complete treatment, Shagari Korami has a good chance of full recovery and will be able to return to his normal life and schooling. However, if left untreated, the severe malaria and the typoid could lead to brain damage, coma, or even death, while the peptic ulcer could cause internal bleeding or long-term stomach problems.
