Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About bronchopneumonia
Bronchopneumonia is a type of pneumonia that causes patchy inflammation in the bronchi and surrounding lung tissue, usually resulting from bacterial infection, though viruses and fungi can also be involved. It commonly affects children, the elderly, and individuals with weak immune systems. Symptoms include fever, cough with sputum, chest pain, shortness of breath, rapid breathing, and fatigue. Diagnosis is based on clinical signs, chest X-ray, and laboratory tests. Treatment involves antibiotics, rest, fluids, and supportive care such as oxygen therapy when needed. Early treatment usually leads to full recovery, while delayed or severe cases can cause complications like lung abscess or respiratory failure.

Jesslyn is a female child of 1 year old, she is the last child of her parents, she has 2 other siblings. The father is a civil servant and the mother is a house wife. They own their apartment where there a 3 rooms and a toilet. Jesslyn is a female child of 1 year old, she is the last child of her parents, she has 2 other siblings. The father is a civil servant and the mother is a house wife. The child appeared acutely ill and was in respiratory distress, with an SpO₂ of 88% on room air and nasal flaring. Widespread bilateral crepitations were heard across the lung fields.
Medical history
Jesslyn was brought to WholeCare hospital with high grade fever, difficulty breathing and cough. She was admitted and diagnosed with bronchopneomonia, treatment commenced immediately with injection antibiotics and other supportive care. Patient did well and was stable, coughing stopped, difficulty in breathing stepped and temperature became normal. She was discharged with some take home orals and and a schedule of follow up was slated. Family extends gratitude to Helpster Charity team for the support.
Prognosis
The prognosis of bronchopneumonia is generally good with early and appropriate antibiotic treatment, as most patients recover fully. However, in infants, the elderly, or those with weakened immunity, the condition can become severe and lead to complications such as respiratory failure, sepsis, or pleural effusion. Prompt medical care and supportive management greatly improve recovery and reduce the risk of serious outcomes.
