Medical history
Joseph, a cheerful two-year-old with a love for toy cars and playing with other children. He recently began to experience persistent fevers, a runny nose, coughing, and difficulty breathing. Living in a children's home, his guardian was reaching out to well-wishers for help in treating him. That’s when she learned about Helpster Charity. After a visit to the doctor, Joseph was diagnosed with typhoid fever and promptly received the necessary treatment. Thanks to the support, Joseph made a full recovery and is back to his playful, energetic self.
Prognosis
Typhoid fever is typically treated with antibiotics, such as ciprofloxacin or ceftriaxone. If left untreated, typhoid fever can lead to severe complications, including the spread of the infection to other organs and tissues, intestinal perforation, and in rare cases, life-threatening conditions such as sepsis or encephalitis. Timely treatment is crucial to prevent these serious outcomes.
