A 5-year-old child from poor home was brought to UMD Medical facility. He is cheerful and likes playing and also dream to become a probational player in the future, they were four in their house with 2 boys and 2 girls. About eight 8 months ago Adam's parents noticed scrotal swelling that failed to reduce, and the swelling is increasing in size and there is abdominal pain. Upon presentation at our hospital, and after being clinically evaluated, and was diagnosed with Hydrocele.

Abdullahi Adam, a 5-year-old young adult, presented with a history right scrotal swelling since 1 year accompanied by feeling of heaviness and scrotal pain. After thorough evaluation and investigation, he was diagnosed with Hernia. He underwent successful surgery without immediate complications. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 3 days for close monitoring and post-operative care. Ali recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, he is doing well, has fully recovered, and has resumed his regular activities. If right untreated, inguinal hydrocele can lead to complications such as bowel obstruction, strangulation (where blood supply to the herniated tissue is cut off), and significant pain or discomfort. Surgery is the most common treatment for inguinal hernias to repair the weakened area and prevent these potential complications.
