Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About urology

Md. Yeasin is suffering from scrotal swelling on the right side, difficulty in sitting, and pain while walking. He has been diagnosed with a right-sided congenital inguinoscrotal hernia with hydrocele. This condition occurs when abdominal contents push into the scrotum, often accompanied by fluid around the testicle, causing swelling, discomfort, and potential complications like obstruction or strangulation if left untreated.

Background

Md. Yeasin is a bright and cheerful 4-year-old boy whose kindness, creativity, and love for drawing make him a joy to everyone around him. He lives with his large family in a crowded camp, where his father struggles to support seven members — including two children, three adults, and a sick grandmother — on a day-labor income of only 6,000 taka, leaving no possibility of affording proper medical care. As Yeasin’s scrotal swelling grew larger and more painful, it began limiting his ability to walk, play, or even sit comfortably, putting his health and childhood dreams at risk. Without timely treatment, the swelling could worsen, cause severe infection, or lead to long-term complications that might affect his future. Learning about Helpster Charity through a medical camp became the family’s only ray of hope, offering the chance to relieve Yeasin’s pain and protect his bright future.

Medical history

Md. Yeasin was admitted on 12.10.2025 with scrotal swelling on the right side, difficulty in sitting, and pain during walking. He was diagnosed with a right-sided congenital inguinoscrotal hydrocele with associated hydrocele, which required surgical intervention. On 14.10.2025, he successfully underwent an operation to correct the condition. Following the surgery, he received careful medical treatment and attentive nursing care, which helped him recover steadily. His swelling and discomfort gradually improved, and he regained his ability to move and sit comfortably. After several days of monitoring and support, he was discharged on 17.10.2025, healthy, stable, and able to resume normal activities with ease.

Prognosis

The doctor has recommended hydrocelectomy with herniotomy. If left untreated, the swelling and pain may worsen, making it increasingly difficult for him to sit, walk, or engage in normal daily activities. There is also a risk of complications such as infection or testicular damage over time. Timely surgical intervention can resolve the swelling, relieve pain, and allow him to move freely and participate in regular activities. Early treatment will ensure proper testicular development and prevent long-term complications, significantly improving his quality of life.
