Farzana Lamia is a polite and resilient 25-year-old woman who lives with her husband, two children, and elderly in-laws in a small rented house in a slum, where the family struggles to survive on her husband’s daily wage income of around 9,000 BDT. As the only earning member, her husband supports the entire family, including his elderly and disabled father and homemaker mother, leaving no savings for urgent medical care. Despite her gentle nature and dedication to her family, Farzana is now facing serious pregnancy complications, including high blood pressure, weakness, reduced fetal movement, and low amniotic fluid, placing both her life and her unborn baby at significant risk. Without timely treatment, these complications could lead to life-threatening conditions for the mother and severe distress or loss of the baby. The family learned about Helpster Charity through community outreach by volunteer Md. Shahiduzzaman Sohel and is now seeking urgent support to ensure a safe outcome.

Farzana Lamia was admitted to Jhalakathi Model Clinic on 28.10.2025, where she underwent a successful Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) on the same day under proper medical supervision. The procedure resulted in the safe delivery of a healthy baby boy weighing approximately 3.7 kg, and both mother and child remained stable during the post-operative period. She received appropriate medications, close monitoring, and necessary follow-up care, and was discharged in improved condition on 31.10.2025 with medical advice for recovery. Farzana and her family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity and its dedicated volunteers, especially Md. Shahiduzzaman Sohel, for their timely financial and emotional support. They also sincerely thanked the doctors and staff of Jhalakathi Model Clinic for their compassionate care and successful treatment, which ensured the safety and well-being of both mother and child.

With timely LSCS (cesarean section), the baby can be delivered safely, reducing the risk of complications caused by low amniotic fluid and decreased fetal movement. This intervention will help prevent fetal distress, ensure adequate oxygen supply to the baby, and protect the mother from potential complications during labor. After delivery, both mother and baby are expected to recover well with proper post-operative care and monitoring. However, if left untreated, the baby may suffer from severe distress due to lack of adequate support inside the womb, which could lead to stillbirth or long-term complications. Delaying intervention may also put the mother at risk of serious complications during labor, endangering both lives.
