Md. Nasirullah Mondol has been diagnosed with glandular hypospadias accompanied by mild chordee, a congenital condition affecting the normal structure of the penis. In this condition, the urethral opening is not located at the tip, and the mild curvature (chordee) can interfere with normal urination and cause discomfort. As the child grows, these abnormalities increase the risk of recurrent infections, pain, and future functional and psychological difficulties. Timely surgical correction is important to restore normal anatomy and prevent long-term complications.

Background
Md. Nasrullah Mondol is a 9-year-old Class Five student living with his parents, grandparents, and younger sister in a six-member household that survives on his father Md. Shah Alam Mondol’s small vending income of about 7,000 taka per month. With this limited income and multiple dependents, the family struggles to meet basic needs and cannot afford the cost of surgical treatment. Despite frequent pain and repeated infections, Nasrullah remains determined to continue his studies and hopes to live a healthy, normal life. He has been suffering from glandular hypospadias since birth, and without corrective surgery his condition may lead to worsening infections, long-term urinary problems, and serious physical and psychological complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a poster, after which his father contacted Bablu Abdullah for support, offering the child a chance for proper treatment and a better future.
Prognosis
Doctors have recommended urethroplasty as the definitive treatment for Md. Nasirullah Mondol to correct glandular hypospadias with mild chordee. With timely surgery, the urinary passage can be properly reconstructed, allowing normal urination, relieving pain, and preventing recurrent and potentially severe infections. This treatment will protect the child from complications that could spread infection and threaten his overall health. If left untreated, the condition may lead to repeated infections, urinary obstruction, worsening pain, and serious health risks that could become life-threatening over time. Early surgical intervention is therefore critical to safeguard the child’s health and survival.
