About infections
Malaria is a potentially life-threatening infectious disease caused by parasites transmitted to humans through the bite of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. Once inside the human body, the parasites multiply in the liver and then infect red blood cells, causing recurrent cycles of symptoms, including high fever, chills, fatigue, and, in severe cases, organ damage or failure.This stage of the disease is defined by the evidence of vital organ dysfunction.

Background
Bilshan is a very obedient child who does well in school; the teachers and his family are fond of him. He would like to be a teacher when he grows up and would also like to own his own car. He fell ill with nasal congestion, fever and general body malaise.
Medical history
Bilshan was brought to the hospital with symptoms of fever, vomiting and loss of appetite. After physical examination from the doctor, and laboratory tests, it was confirmed that he had malaria and acute tonsillitis. He responded well to the treatment and recovered.
Prognosis
Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
