Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology

The patient is a 36 weeks and 1 day pregnant woman, gravida 4 and para 3, who presented with a breech presentation — a condition in which the baby is positioned with its buttocks or feet first instead of the typical head-first position. This can lead to complications such as cord prolapse, obstructed labor, IUFD and fetal head entrapment. She requires immediate medical intervention to ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby.

Background

Most. Sharmin is a gentle, hardworking housewife who lives only for her children—Ali Hossain, Golam Robbani, and little Rabeya—and dreams of seeing them secure a better future despite their harsh living conditions in a government shelter. Her husband, Md. Rasel, earns just 6,000 Taka per month as a truck helper, which is barely enough to cover food for the six family members, including her elderly mother-in-law, Most. Roshida, leaving nothing for emergency medical care. During her fourth pregnancy, she suddenly developed severe lower abdominal pain and fatigue, and an ultrasound confirmed a breech baby at 36 weeks, making an immediate cesarean section unavoidable. Without this lifesaving surgery, both Sharmin and her unborn child face a high risk of obstructed labor, fetal distress, and even death. The family, who learned about Helpster Charity through a Free Medical Camp, now stands helpless, hoping for support to save a mother and her baby from a preventable tragedy.

Medical history

Most. Sharmin came to the hospital at 36 weeks and 1 day of pregnancy with a breech presentation and was admitted on 12.11.2025. Her LUCS operation was performed on the same day, and the procedure was successful, ensuring the safe delivery of her baby. After the surgery, she received proper medical management, continuous monitoring, and attentive nursing care, which helped her recover smoothly. Both mother and baby remained in stable and secure condition throughout their hospital stay. After confirming her improved health and recovery, she was discharged on 25.11.2025 in a safe and well condition.

Prognosis

The recommended treatment for this case is Lower Uterine Caesarean section under SAB ( Spinal Anaesthesia ), which is the safest option to delivery the baby immediately and prevent further complications.. with timely surgery the baby is expected to recover well and lead a healthy life. however if the the delivery is delayed or left untreated the baby may suffer cord prolapse, obstructed labor, IUFD and fetal head entrapment, leading to permanent brain damage or even death, and the mother may also face life threatening infections or complications. correct the grammar and spelling.
