Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Dengue fever is a mosquito borne disease caused by dengue virus. Most cases of dengue fever are either asymptomatic or manifest mild symptoms like fever, bodyache,headache,nausea and vomiting. But some cases it may turn into severe dengue fever/dengue hemorrhagic fever. Abu developed dengue fever with warning signs as he had fever, Itchin on the sole, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal pain and was diagnosed as Dengue Fever. So he needed emergency hospitalization. If not treated promptly patient may lead to life threatening condition which may cause death of the patient.

Background
Three-year-old Abu is a cheerful and loving little boy who enjoys playing with his sister and eating the meals his mother cooks with care. But when he suddenly developed fever, itching on his soles, vomiting, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite, doctors diagnosed him with dengue fever—a condition that can become life-threatening without immediate hospital care. His father, a poor villager struggling to support the family, could not afford the cost of treatment at the tertiary hospital where Abu was referred, leaving the family terrified and helpless. As Abu’s condition worsened, a pediatrician urged urgent admission, warning that without proper treatment he could face severe complications like internal bleeding or shock. With nowhere else to turn, the family reached Narayanganj Poly Clinic and Helpster, praying for support to save their little boy’s life.
Medical history
Abu, a 3 year was suffering from dengue fever. He required emergency hospitalization due to fever, Itchin on the sole, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal pain and was diagnosed as Dengue Fever. Abu was treated conservatively, and thankfully, he is now doing well and back home with a bright smile. He was admitted on 16/11/2025 and was discharged on 20/11/2025. Prognosis
With prompt and appropriate medical treatment, including supportive care, hydration, and close monitoring, Abu’s Dengue Fever can be effectively managed, allowing him to recover fully and return to his normal, active life. Timely intervention will prevent severe complications such as internal bleeding, organ damage, shock, dehydration, or neurological issues like seizures and encephalopathy. Doctors expect that with proper care, Abu will make a complete recovery without long-term health consequences. However, if left untreated, his condition could rapidly worsen, becoming life-threatening and potentially resulting in permanent damage or death. Early treatment is therefore critical to safeguard his health and future.
