Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology

Mitaly Rani, a 22-year-old woman at 37 weeks of a single viable pregnancy, is experiencing fetal distress with the baby in a breech presentation. This means the baby is positioned feet- or buttocks-first rather than head-first, which can complicate labor. Fetal distress suggests the baby may not be receiving enough oxygen or is otherwise under stress. Together, these factors indicate a high-risk situation requiring prompt medical evaluation and careful management to ensure the safety of both mother and baby.

Thank you for saving this life!

Background

Mitaly, a gentle and hardworking 22-year-old woman who loves caring for her small household, lives in a rented room in Narayanganj with her husband, Krisno, whose hotel job earns only 6000 BDT per month—barely enough to cover food and rent for their struggling family. When she became 37 weeks pregnant and developed severe lower abdominal pain with dangerously reduced fetal movement, their poverty left them terrified because they had no savings for emergency medical care. After the government hospital could not provide urgent treatment, her condition became life-threatening, and without proper intervention both Mitaly and her unborn baby were at serious risk. With no relatives capable of supporting them and Krisno unable to afford the operation, they turned to Helpster Charity as their only hope. Thanks to the emergency cesarean section supported by Helpster, Mitaly safely delivered a healthy baby who now completes their small but hopeful family.

Medical history

Mitaly had 37 weeks pregnancy. suddenly she complaints of lower abdominal pain. She had also complaints of less foetal movement, breech presentation. Patient got admitted to Narayanganj Poly Clinic. As there was less foetal movement and lower abdominal pain was not progressed patient needed emergency cesarean section. Cesarean section was done successfully under spinal anaesthesia and a healthy baby was delivered. She was admitted on 18/11/2025 and was discharged on 21/11/2025. After operation conservative treatment was given. Now patient is doing well, she is back to her normal life with smiling face. ‎

Prognosis

With the timely cesarean section performed under spinal anesthesia, Mitaly and her baby received life-saving care that successfully addressed the risks associated with lower abdominal pain, reduced foetal movement, breech presentation. The emergency resuscitation ensured that the newborn started life safely and healthily, minimizing the risk of respiratory or other complications. Doctors anticipate a full recovery for both mother and child, with normal growth and development expected for the baby and no long-term health issues for Mitaly. Had the intervention been delayed, the baby could have suffered severe oxygen deprivation, respiratory distress, or even death, and the mother could have faced life-threatening complications. Prompt medical care has thus secured a safe and positive outcome for both, giving them a healthy start and future.
