The fetus is in breech presentation, meaning the buttocks or feet are positioned to deliver first instead of the head. At this advanced stage of pregnancy, the breech position may pose challenges for normal vaginal delivery.

Background
Tanjila is a gentle and hardworking 18-year-old woman who lives with her husband and parents in a crowded rental home, dreaming of a peaceful life with her baby despite constant financial hardship. During her pregnancy, government hospital staff informed her family about Helpster Charity when they were unable to provide emergency treatment due to a lack of doctors. After contacting Helpster, volunteer Masud Rana visited their home and witnessed the family’s severe poverty and inability to afford medical care. When Tanjila developed severe abdominal pain, abnormal discharge, and a breech presentation at 37 weeks, the risk to both her life and her unborn baby became critical. With no savings and no other options, her husband and parents are seeking Helpster’s support as their only chance to save her and the baby.
Medical history
Tanjila had 37 weeks plus pregnancy. suddenly she complaints of lower abdominal pain for 2 days, breech presentation. She had also complaints of per vaginal whitish discharge for 3 days . Patient got admitted to Narayanganj Poly Clinic. Cesarean section was done successfully under spinal anaesthesia and a healthy male baby was delivered. She was admitted on 04/12/2025 and was discharged on 07/12/2025. After operation conservative treatment was given. Now patient is doing well, she is back to her normal life with smiling face.
Prognosis
Doctors have advised LUCS (caesarean section) as the safest treatment because the baby is in a breech position, which makes normal delivery very risky. With timely LUCS, the baby can be delivered safely, greatly reducing the chances of birth injury, breathing problems, or loss of life, while also protecting the mother from dangerous labor complications. The procedure will give both Tanjila and her child a strong chance for a healthy recovery and a normal life ahead. If the baby is left untreated and delivery is delayed or attempted normally, it could lead to severe complications such as prolonged labor, lack of oxygen to the baby, or even death. Early surgical intervention is therefore critical to save both mother and child and prevent lifelong consequences.
