Nineteen-year-old Shefali Rani, a gentle and hardworking young mother, is now 34+ weeks into her second high-risk pregnancy, with her baby in a dangerous breech position. She lives with her husband, a day laborer who struggles to earn enough for food, and her elderly in-laws who cannot work, leaving the family with no savings to cover the cost of essential medical care. Her first delivery was a complicated caesarean section in a government hospital, and this time, attempting a vaginal birth could lead to life-threatening complications for both Shefali and her unborn child. As their worries grew, a local representative named Sujon from the city clinic informed them about Helpster, giving the family a glimmer of hope. Without timely treatment, Shefali risks severe complications, and her baby may not survive childbirth—but with support, she has a chance at a safe delivery and a healthy future for her growing family.
Medical history
The patient,Shefali Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 02th December 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 2.8 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 06th December 2025 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis
The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest treatment option forDhefaly Rani's delivery. With this procedure, both mother and baby are expected to have a stable and healthy outcome, minimizing the risks associated with breech presentation and her previous cesarean history. The surgery will help prevent life-threatening complications such as uterine rupture, fetal distress, or prolonged labor. If the condition is left untreated and a vaginal delivery is attempted, both Shefaly and her baby could face severe complications, including the risk of losing the baby or endangering the mother’s life. Timely surgical intervention is therefore critical for a safe and successful delivery.
