Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Severe pneumonia involves intense symptoms like very rapid breathing, extreme fatigue, confusion (especially in older adults), bluish skin/lips (cyanosis), high fever, chest pain, and a severe cough producing colored mucus, indicating the lungs are struggling to get oxygen, often requiring hospitalization, IV antibiotics, and oxygen therapy to manage the deep lung infection. Severe dehydration is a life-threatening medical emergency characterized by extreme thirst, confusion, lethargy, sunken eyes, lack of sweating, very dark or no urine, rapid heart/breathing, low blood pressure, and shock, requiring immediate medical help (like ER or calling 911) because the body lacks enough fluid for normal functions, potentially leading to seizures, coma, or death.

Background
Shirley is the third-born in a family of five and lives with both parents and her siblings in a semi-permanent one-bedroom house. She enjoys dancing and dreams of becoming a doctor in the future. Her mother is unemployed, while her father is the sole breadwinner. He earns a living by using a motorcycle owned by someone else to transport passengers, paying a fixed daily amount to the owner and using the remaining income to support his family. Shirley fell ill one morning, initially experiencing headache, cough, a runny nose, fever, and general body aches. Her mother gave her Panadol to reduce the fever. While Shirley's mother was attending to household chores, Shirley suddenly developed convulsions, causing her mother to panic. Remembering that she had previously learned about Helpster Charity, her mother rushed Shirley to the health facility for urgent care.
Medical history
THE CHILD WAS TREATED WITH ANTIBIOTICS, ANALGESICS,ANTIHISTAMINE,REHYDRATION AND ANTIEMETICS AS SHOWN IN THE MEDICAL REPORT.AFTER A FEW DAYS THE CHILD RESPONDED, IMPROVED BETTER AND WAS DISCHARGED HOME WITH ORALS.
Prognosis
With prompt hospital treatment, Shirley’s prognosis is good. Although severe pneumonia and severe dehydration are serious conditions, especially in children, early intervention with antibiotics, oxygen support if needed, and aggressive rehydration significantly improves outcomes. The prognosis for severe pneumonia varies but carries significant risks. The prognosis for severe dehydration is serious but often good with rapid, appropriate treatment (IV fluids, electrolytes), but if untreated, it's life-threatening.
