Most Lipi Khatun is a kind and hardworking housewife who quietly manages a large family of eight with patience and care, while her husband Md. Jakir Hossain struggles to support everyone on his small daily wages as a day laborer. With elderly parents-in-law Aiub Ali and Jamena Begum, a school-going daughter Jim Akter, and an infant niece Mahi Moni to care for, the family’s monthly income of 14,000 taka barely covers food and basic needs, leaving no savings for medical emergencies. Now 34 weeks pregnant and diagnosed with a breech-positioned baby, Lipi’s pregnancy has become risky and requires proper medical supervision and possible surgical delivery. If she does not receive timely treatment, both she and her unborn baby could face serious complications during labor, including birth injury or life-threatening emergencies. Despite these fears, Lipi remains gentle, hopeful, and strong, dreaming of safely welcoming a healthy baby while continuing to care for her family.

Most Lipi Khatun was admitted to the hospital on November 28, 2025, with a diagnosis of Breech Presentation. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn were discharged on Deceember 02, 2025, in good health. Upon examination and review of antenatal check-up findings, Most Lipi Khatun has been diagnosed with a term breech presentation. This condition presents when the fetus is positioned with the buttocks or feet toward the birth canal rather than the head, which is the ideal position for delivery. Breech presentation at this advanced stage of pregnancy significantly increases the risk of complicated labor, including cord prolapse, obstructed labor, fetal distress, and potential birth trauma. With timely medical intervention, preferably through a planned cesarean section, the prognosis is favorable for both mother and baby. However, without access to appropriate obstetric care, the risks of stillbirth, neonatal injury, or maternal complications increase significantly.
