Md. Abu Bakkar Siddik is a 15-year-old madrasa student who is known to be disciplined, cooperative, and committed to his studies despite financial hardship. His father, a Nurani and Hafejia madrasa teacher earning only 9,000 BDT per month, supports a family of five living in a tin-made house, making it impossible to afford emergency surgical treatment. The family has no additional land or income sources and relies solely on the father’s modest salary for daily expenses. If timely treatment for his ruptured appendicitis is not provided, the condition may lead to life-threatening complications such as severe infection and sepsis. His parents and younger brothers are deeply concerned, hoping for support so that Abu Bakkar can recover and continue his education.

Md. Abu Bakkar Siddik was admitted to the hospital on November 30, 2025, with right-sided abdominal pain. After medical evaluation, he was diagnosed with appendicitis. On the same day, an appendectomy was successfully performed. Following twelve days of postoperative care and recovery, he was discharged on December 11, 2025, in good health. If left untreated, a ruptured appendix can lead to widespread abdominal infection (peritonitis), sepsis, and may become fatal. Therefore, urgent surgery is essential to prevent serious, irreversible harm to the child’s health and life.
