Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology
Akhi Akter is a primigravida at 37 weeks of pregnancy, experiencing prolonged labor with a breech presentation, where the baby is not in the normal head-down position. This combination increases the risk of complications during delivery, as prolonged labor can lead to exhaustion and distress for both mother and baby. Breech presentation further complicates the process, making normal delivery unsafe in most cases. Without timely medical intervention, this condition can result in serious risks, including birth complications and danger to both lives.

Background
Akhi Akter is a gentle and hopeful 19-year-old woman who dreams of building a happy family with her husband Saidul and caring for their future child. Her husband, a daily wage laborer earning only 8,000 BDT per month, struggles to support four family members, including his mother Selina and younger brother Obaidul, making it impossible to afford the cost of an emergency operation. When Akhi suddenly developed severe abdominal pain, doctors discovered a breech presentation and advised an urgent caesarean section to save both mother and baby. Without timely surgery, there is a high risk of serious complications during delivery, which could endanger the lives of both Akhi and her unborn child. After learning about Helpster Charity through community miking and a former patient, the family is now seeking support in this critical moment to ensure a safe delivery.
Medical history
After experiencing, 37+ weeks of her pregnancy with labour pain for 1days, she arrived at our hospital at 9.0AM in 30 novembor 2025, where doctors performed an ultrasound and clinical examination that revealed BREECH presentation , making vaginal delivery difficult. An emergency cesarean section was promptly arranged, and the procedure was successful, resulting in the birth of a beautiful male baby. Both the mother and the baby are safe and sound, with no complications arising from the surgery. We discharged the patient at 10.30AM in 04 Decembor 2025.The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Heroes and the hospital for their timely and effective care.
Prognosis
Doctors have advised LUCS (Lower Uterine Caesarean Section) as the safest option for Akhi Akter due to the breech presentation and prolonged labor pain. With timely surgical intervention, the baby can be delivered safely, significantly reducing the risk of complications and ensuring a better outcome for both mother and child. Following the operation, both are expected to recover well and continue a healthy life with proper postnatal care. However, if the surgery is delayed or not performed, the situation may become critical, leading to obstructed labor, severe distress for the baby, and life-threatening complications for the mother. In such cases, the risk of injury or even loss of life for both increases significantly, making immediate treatment essential.
