Jannat Begum, a 2-month-old baby, has been diagnosed with Typhoid Fever after suffering from prolonged fever, weakness, abdominal discomfort, and frequent loose stools. Typhoid Fever is a serious infection that can quickly become dangerous in very young infants because their bodies are not strong enough to fight it easily. This illness can lead to severe dehydration, poor feeding, and worsening weakness if not treated promptly. With proper hospital care and antibiotics, she has a good chance of recovery and returning to normal health.

Background
Jannat Begum is a 2-month-old baby who was previously healthy, but she suddenly developed high fever, stomach pain, and frequent loose stools, which made her very weak. Her family brought her to Saheda Gaful Hospital as her condition was getting worse despite initial treatment. The family learned about HelpSter charity support through miking in the community, and after the doctor explained the service in detail, they expressed their interest in receiving assistance. Jannat’s father, Mosharraf, is a daily wage laborer earning only 8,000 taka per month, and with five family members including her mother Taslima, grandparents Nurul Haque and Nur Shahida, and her sister Khadija, they are unable to manage both household and medical expenses. The doctor advised urgent hospital admission, as without timely treatment her illness could become serious and life-threatening at such a young age.
Medical history
Jannat Begum is 2 month old baby. Suddenly She got fever for last 10 days with abdominal pain. . His mother came to our hospital in 1 December 2025.Doctor diagnosed this case as typhoid fever. Doctor suggests to get admitted to hospital. Doctor and Nurses provide the baby proper treatment and affectionate care. As a result, Jannat Begum comes round from his illness and becomes heathy. At 6 December 2025, we discharged her. The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Charity and the hospital for their timely and effective care.
Prognosis
The doctor has advised hospital admission with parenteral antibiotic therapy, fever control, and supportive care to help Jannat recover safely. With timely treatment, her fever will reduce, her strength will improve, and she will be able to feed normally and grow healthy again. Supportive therapy is also important to prevent dehydration and stabilize her condition at such a young age. However, if she is left untreated, typhoid fever can become life-threatening, leading to severe weakness, complications, and possible organ damage. Early and proper medical care is essential to save her life and ensure a full recovery.
