Mst. Ashamoni Khatun is a 21-year-old housewife from a low-income family, where her husband Jahinur Rahman works as a day laborer earning approximately 8,000 taka per month while supporting his parents, Jahanara Begum and Md. Bablu Miah. The family’s income is barely sufficient to cover basic living expenses, leaving no financial capacity for emergency medical treatment. At 37 weeks of her first pregnancy, she presented with lower abdominal pain and a history of watery vaginal discharge, and was diagnosed with severe oligohydramnios at Jamuna Clinic. Her father learned about Helpster Charity through a neighbor, Akul Ahmed, and subsequently her husband contacted Bablu Abdullah, a Helpster volunteer, to seek financial assistance for treatment. Without timely intervention, there is a serious risk of fetal distress, infection, or stillbirth, as well as potential complications threatening the mother’s life.

Mst Ashamoni Khatun was admitted to the hospital on December 01, 2025, with a diagnosis of sever oligohydramnois. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn were discharged on December 05, 2025, in good health. Her mother came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic and Md Abdullah Miah for their treatment and support. Her mother was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

The doctor recommends an urgent cesarean section for Mst Ashamoni Khatun to prevent life-threatening complications for both her and her baby. With severe oligohydramnios could result in fetal distress, stillbirth, or serious maternal complications such as uterine rupture or placental issues. A timely C-section offers the best chance of delivering a healthy baby and protecting the mother’s life. If the procedure is performed promptly mother and child are expected to recover well, with significantly reduced risks of morbidity or mortality. Without this intervention, both mother and baby face a critical situation that could have irreversible consequences.
