Background
Most. Anju Akter is a gentle and caring young mother who spends her days looking after her child, her elders, and the small animals she loves, while quietly dreaming of one day having a small cow farm. Her husband, Nurul Islam, works as a day laborer earning only 6,000 taka a month, which barely supports their five-member family living in a fragile mud house on government land with his elderly parents. With no savings after her previous cesarean delivery, the family cannot manage sudden hospital costs. Now, at 36 weeks, doctors have found the baby in a breech position and advised an urgent cesarean section. Medical history
Most. Anju Akter arrived at the hospital with a 36-week-and-4-day pregnancy complicated by breech presentation. She was admitted on 12.11.2025, and an LUCS operation was performed on the same day due to the risk to both mother and baby. The surgery was successful, and the baby was delivered safely without further complications. After the operation, she received appropriate medical management, continuous monitoring, and attentive nursing care, which supported her stable and steady recovery. Both mother and baby remained in good condition throughout the postoperative period. Following satisfactory improvement, she was discharged on 15.11.2025 in a healthy and secure condition.
Prognosis
The recommended treatment for Most. Anju Akter is LUCS under SAB, which is the safest option to deliver the baby immediately and prevent further complications. With timely surgery, the baby is expected to recover well and lead a healthy life.
