Esmot Ara, a gentle and hardworking 16-year-old mother from the remote village of Shahpara, is expecting her second child after previously suffering a miscarriage, making this pregnancy especially precious and high-risk. Her husband is a day laborer with an unstable income, and they also care for his elderly parents, leaving the family unable to afford a costly caesarean section despite barely managing daily meals. Kind-hearted and devoted to her family, Esmot spends her days doing household chores and dreaming of a safe birth. With the baby in a dangerous breech position, attempting a home or vaginal delivery could have resulted in the loss of both mother and child. Support from Helpster, reached through Sadika, gave the family hope and a chance at saving two lives when they had nowhere else to turn.

The patient,Esmot ara was admitted to City Clinic on 28th December 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 01th January 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest treatment option for Esmot Ara's delivery. With this procedure, both mother and baby are expected to have a stable and healthy outcome, minimizing the risks associated with breech presentation. The surgery will help prevent life-threatening complications such as uterine rupture, fetal distress, or prolonged labor. If the condition is left untreated and a vaginal delivery is attempted, both Esmot and her baby could face severe complications, including the risk of losing the baby or endangering the mother’s life. Timely surgical intervention is therefore critical for a safe and successful delivery.
