Mst. Sahera Khatun is a 39-year-old caring and resilient housewife who lives with her husband Md. Rofiqul Islam, a day laborer, their young daughter Fahima, and her elderly widowed mother-in-law in a four-member family surviving on a monthly income of only 7,000 taka. She loves cooking and dreams of giving birth to a healthy baby, but the family is still burdened by debt from her previous surgery, which was managed through a loan from an NGO. Now in her fourth pregnancy at 30 weeks, she developed lower abdominal pain and reduced fetal movement, and medical tests showed a risky condition that requires close medical care. With her husband’s unstable income and no savings, the family cannot afford the cost of treatment. Without timely medical intervention, both Sahera and her unborn baby face serious and potentially life-threatening risks, which is why, after learning about Helpster from another patient and contacting volunteer Bablu Abdullah, the family is seeking urgent support.

Mst Sahera Khatun was admitted to the hospital on November 27 , 2025, with a diagnosis of Breech Presentation. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn were discharged on December 02, 2025, in good health. Her mother in law came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic and, Bablu Abdullah for their treatment and support. Doctors have advised that LUCS is the safest treatment option for Mst. Sahera Khatun due to the baby’s breech position and her complicated obstetric history.
