Musa Maji developed sudden, severe left flank pain tha t radiated to his groin, accompanied by nausea and vomiting over three days. Presented at the hospital with sudden onset of left flank pain, with attendant 2 to 3 episodes of left flank pain. Moderately ill and uncomfortable on general physical examination. Abdominal examination shows moderate left costovertebral angle tenderness. Ultrasound scan confirms the presence of kidney stone measuring 2.7cm with moderate hydronephrosis. Diagnosis: Left kidney stone.
