Mohammad is an 11-month-old cheerful and lively baby who lives with his parents in a tin-shed, rented house in Narayanganj, where the four-member family struggles to survive on a very limited income. His parents lovingly dream of seeing him grow up to become a kind doctor one day, but their hopes were shaken when Mohammad developed pneumonia after several days of cough, fever, and breathing difficulty. With no savings and no permanent home, the family was unable to afford the cost of treatment, leaving them frightened and helpless. Without timely medical care, Mohammad’s condition could worsen rapidly, putting his fragile life at serious risk. Learning about Helpster through Dr. Munna, the desperate parents brought their child to Narayanganj Polyclinic, hoping for support to save their beloved son’s life.

Mohammad , a 11-month-old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past few months, but this time, his condition worsened as he developed pneumonia. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his health continued to decline, leaving him lethargic and in a toxic state. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at Narayanganj Polyclinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of his condition. Abu was admitted on 12/12/25, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 17/12/25. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Mohammad is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. The patient was suffering from severe pneumonia, which posed a life-threatening risk and required immediate treatment. Upon admission, he received emergency care, including intramuscular antibiotics, nebulization, and oxygen support, as intravenous administration was not feasible due to repeated cannula displacement. If left untreated, this condition could have led to serious lung infections, respiratory failure, sepsis, and potentially death; however, I am pleased to report that the patient is now doing well and has returned to his normal daily life, bringing smiles to his parents' faces.
