Aisha Kashim Mustapha is a 12-year-old girl from a caring and supportive family. She is a bright and active student who enjoys helping her family with daily chores and assisting younger children with schoolwork. She has generally been healthy, with no chronic illnesses or previous surgeries. Her family describes her as responsible, cheerful, and sociable. Aisha Kashim Mustapha, a 12-year-old female, presented with left-sided flank pain for 1 week. The pain is colicky in nature, intermittent, and radiates towards the lower abdomen. She reports painful urination (dysuria) and increased urinary frequency. Occasionally, she notices blood in her urine (hematuria). There is no history of fever, vomiting, or previous urinary tract infections. She has no prior surgeries and no known chronic illnesses. On presentation at our hospital, she was evaluated and clinical findings and investigations are consistent with a left kidney stone, Diagnosis - Left Kidney Stone. She was planned for Nephrolithotomy upon approval by Helpster charity foundation.

AISHA,a 12-year-old girl, presented with a history of lower back pain,dysuria, hematuria accompanied by Oliguria for the past few months.After thorough evaluation and investigation, she was diagnosed with kidney stone. She underwent successful Nephrolithotomy surgery without immediate complications. Due to the nature of her condition, she was admitted for 3 days for close monitoring and post-operative care. Aisha, recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, she is doing well, has fully recovered, and has resumed her regular activities. We appreciate the timely intervention by Helpster and the UMD Medical team.

Aisha's kidney stone is Larger and it require more extensive treatment like using sound waves to break up the stone (lithotripsy), surgery to remove very large stones, or using a scope passed through the bladder to remove smaller stones. Kidney stones can cause excruciating pain as they move through the urinary tract. If left untreated, the stone may continue to pass or become lodged in a position that causes persistent, severe pain. Planned for surgery upon approval by Helpster charity.
