Krisno Bormon is a lively and charming 4-month-old child who lives in a remote village with her loving parents and brother, where her parents dream of seeing her grow up to become a kind and successful doctor. When Krisno developed persistent cough, cold, and fever, her worried parents took her to a government hospital, but she was referred to a tertiary hospital for urgent care. Sadly, the family’s extreme poverty and lack of money for travel and treatment made it impossible for them to continue, leaving them feeling helpless and frightened. Without proper treatment, Krisno’s severe pneumonia could worsen rapidly, leading to breathing failure or life-threatening infections. With no other option, her desperate parents turned to Sadika Rahman from Helpster Charity, hoping for support to save their precious child’s life.

Krisno Bormon is a 4-month-old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past few days, but this time, his condition worsened as he developed pneumonia. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his health continued to decline, leaving him lethargic and in a toxic state. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at City Clinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of his condition. Krisno was admitted on 17/12/25, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 22/12/25. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Krisno is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. With tears of gratitude in their eyes, his parents said, "Thank you to Helpster Donors and City Clinic, we are forever grateful for your support!"

According to the doctor’s prognosis, with timely treatment such as antibiotics, nebulization, oxygen therapy, and supportive care, the child has a very good chance of full recovery and can grow up healthy without long-term lung problems. Proper treatment will help clear the infection, improve breathing, and prevent damage to the developing lungs. However, if pneumonia is left untreated, the child’s condition may rapidly deteriorate, leading to severe breathing failure, blood infection (sepsis), or fluid accumulation around the lungs. In a young infant, these complications can become life-threatening within a short time. Early and complete treatment is therefore essential to save the child’s life and protect his future health.
