Most Jakia Sultana is a calm, gentle, and compassionate 18-year-old married woman living with her husband, their 2-year-old child, and other family members in a tin-made house in a rural area. Her husband works as a daily laborer, earning only BDT 6,000–7,000 per month, which is barely enough to meet household needs, making it impossible for the family to afford the cost of her medical treatment. Despite ongoing pain and weakness, she continues to care for her child, manage household work, and support her family with patience and determination. Most Jakia Sultana is an eighteen-year-old woman who had been suffering from recurrent tonsillitis with a history of peritonsillar abscess, a serious condition that caused repeated throat infections, severe pain, difficulty swallowing, fever, and weakness. These health issues significantly affected her daily life and her ability to properly care for her child.After completing all necessary medical evaluations and preparations, she was admitted to the hospital for a planned tonsillectomy. Based on the doctor’s recommendation, the surgery was performed under general anesthesia to remove the infected tonsils and prevent further complications. The operation was completed successfully without any intraoperative or postoperative complications.Following the tonsillectomy, Jakia showed steady improvement. Her throat pain and swelling gradually decreased, and she became able to swallow food more comfortably. With proper medication, nutrition, and postoperative care, her overall condition improved significantly.
