Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About nervous system
Myelitis refers to inflammation of the spinal cord. The part of the spinal cord where the damage happens determines which parts of the body are affected. Usually, the body is affected from the site of the damage and below. In people with transverse myelitis, myelin damage most often occurs in nerves in the upper back.

Background
Vallrian, a creative thirteen-year-old student, finds joy in activities such as listening to music, drawing, and modeling, envisioning a future in the world of art and craft. However, a week ago, his mother noticed a concerning change in his health. Vallrian began experiencing a pricking sensation and numbness in both his arms and legs, accompanied by a limitation in his ability to move them. Within two days, he lost the ability to walk entirely, prompting his swift transport to a health facility.
Medical history
Isaac was put on a six-days intravenous medication of vitamin B complex and ceftriaxone, an antibiotic for five days. He responded well to the treatment and during discharge he could try walking with mild lower limbs pains. The boy who came to the hospital while unable to walk, and feeling so dejected left the hospital beaming with smiles; he was being supported as he walked out of hospital. A follow up visit to his home confirmed that he was now doing well and could comfortably walk and go about with his life.
Prognosis
Myelitis can lead to permanent damage to the spinal cord and nerve fibers, resulting in paralysis, sensory disturbances, and loss of control over the bladder or bowel. Treatment typically involves addressing the underlying cause of inflammation, such as viral or bacterial infections and autoimmune disorders.
