Saifan is a lively 3-month-old baby who lives with his parents and brother in a crowded tin-shed house, where his gentle smiles bring hope to the whole family. His parents, who struggle daily to afford even basic necessities and have no permanent home or savings, learned about Helpster Charity from a former patient and then contacted Helpster volunteer Masud Rana for support. When Saifan developed severe pneumonia with breathing difficulty and fever, his frightened parents were advised to seek urgent hospital care that they simply could not afford. Without proper treatment, his respiratory distress could rapidly worsen and become life-threatening for such a young child. With no other option left, the family has turned to Helpster Charity and Narayanganj Poly Clinic, hoping to save their beloved child and protect his future.

Saifan a 3 month-old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past few months, but this time, his condition worsened as he developed severe pneumonia. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his health continued to decline, leaving him lethargic and in a toxic state. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at Narayanganj Polyclinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of his condition. Saifan was admitted on 24/12/25, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 28/12/25. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Saifan is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. With tears of gratitude in their eyes, his parents said, "Thank you to Helpster Donors and Narayanganj Polyclinic for saving our son's life; we are forever grateful for your support!"

The patient was suffering from severe pneumonia, which posed a life-threatening risk and required immediate treatment. Upon admission, he received emergency care, including intramuscular antibiotics, nebulization, and oxygen support, as intravenous administration was not feasible due to repeated cannula displacement. If left untreated, this condition could have led to serious lung infections, respiratory failure, sepsis, and potentially death; however, I am pleased to report that the patient is now doing well and has returned to his normal daily life, bringing smiles to his parents' faces.
