Usman is a lively and cheerful nine-year-old boy who loves playing with his friends and helping his parents around the house. He is curious, observant, and enjoys listening to stories from his elders. Usman dreams of becoming a doctor one day so he can care for the sick in his community and make his family proud. Usman had been experiencing intermittent lower abdominal pain, dysuria, and hematuria for 6 months. He was diagnosed with a bladder stone few months ago in different facilty and scheduled for surgery, but couldn't afford the treatment cost. This morning, he developed acute urine retention. A stone was palpable in his urethra, and he was diagnosed with acute urine retention secondary to an impacted urethral stone. His parents were worried about his inability to pass urine. The stone was manipulated back to the bladder, and a urethral catheter was inserted for temporary relief. Surgery is planned pending approval from Helpster Charity Foundation.

Usman Musa,a 9 year-old boy, presented with a history of Oliguria ,dysuria, accompanied by lower back pain. After thorough evaluation and investigation, he was diagnosed with Cystolithiasis(bladder stone).He underwent successful Cystolithotomy surgery without immediate complications. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 3 days for close monitoring and post-operative care. Usman recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, he is doing well, has fully recovered, and has resumed his regular activities. Usman is suffering from acute Urinary retention due to a stone dwelling in the urethra, descended from the urinary bladder causing severe lower abdominal pains and urine outflow obstruction, it causes complications including recurrent urinary tract infections, urinary obstruction, chronic bladder dysfunction and even kidney damage from urine back-pressure. If left untreated, they can lead to serious health problems like bladder inflammation, chronic pain, and, in rare cases, a potential association with bladder cancer. In the interim the stone was pushed back to the urinary bladder,and a urethral catheter was inserted as well to relieve him urinary retention,pain and allow him to pass urine via the urethra. Prognosis Treatment of Umar's bladder stone will have a positive outcome once surgery is done early in a patient. His treatment will be done with surgery and medications, he will be admitted for the course of the treatment.
