Bilkis B., 24

Bilkis Banu is a kind, soft-spoken, and family-oriented 24-year-old woman who dreams of safely welcoming her baby and raising her children in good health. Her current pregnancy is high-risk at 34+ weeks, as the baby is in a breech position and she has a history of a previous cesarean delivery. Her husband, a daily wage laborer, struggles to meet basic family needs and cannot afford the cost of another surgery. Without proper medical care, attempting a normal delivery could put both Bilkis and her unborn baby at serious risk, including life-threatening complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Sadika Rahman and is now seeking support to ensure a safe delivery for both mother and child.

The patient,Bilkis Akter was admitted to City Clinic on 2th January 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 06th January 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest treatment option for Bilkis Banu's delivery. With this procedure, both mother and baby are expected to have a stable and healthy outcome, minimizing the risks associated with breech presentation. The surgery will help prevent life-threatening complications such as uterine rupture, fetal distress, or prolonged labor. If the condition is left untreated and a vaginal delivery is attempted, both Bilkis and her baby could face severe complications, including the risk of losing the baby or endangering the mother’s life. Timely surgical intervention is therefore critical for a safe and successful delivery.
