One-year-old Mohammad is a charming and lively baby who lives with his parents and brother in a small tin-shed rental home, where his parents lovingly dream of seeing him grow up to become a kind and successful doctor. The family survives on a very limited income, struggling to manage daily expenses, which makes it impossible for them to afford the urgent medical care he now needs. After days of cough, fever, and worsening breathing difficulties, he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and had to be admitted to Narayanganj Poly Clinic for treatment. Without proper hospitalization and medication, his condition could rapidly deteriorate, leading to respiratory failure and life-threatening complications. After hearing from community members about Helpster Charity’s support at Narayanganj Poly Clinic, the family reached out with hope to save their beloved child’s life.

Mohammad 1 years-old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past few months, but this time, his condition worsened as he developed severe pneumonia. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his health continued to decline, leaving him lethargic and in a toxic state. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at Narayanganj Polyclinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of his condition. Abdullah was admitted on 13/1/26, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 17/1/26. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Mohammad is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. With tears of gratitude in their eyes, his parents said, "Thank you to Helpster Donors and Narayanganj Polyclinic for saving our son's life; we are forever grateful for your support!"

The patient was suffering from severe pneumonia, which posed a life-threatening risk and required immediate treatment. Upon admission, he received emergency care, including intramuscular antibiotics, nebulization, and oxygen support, as intravenous administration was not feasible due to repeated cannula displacement. If left untreated, this condition could have led to serious lung infections, respiratory failure, sepsis, and potentially death; however, I am pleased to report that the patient is now doing well and has returned to his normal daily life, bringing smiles to his parents' faces.
