Abdulsalam Grema is a 14-year-old boy from a modest family. He is active, enjoys playing football with friends, and helps his parents with small household tasks. Abdulsalam is hardworking and curious about how things work. His long-term dream is to become a civil engineer so he can build roads and infrastructure to improve his community. He has generally been healthy, with no chronic illnesses or prior surgeries. Abdulsalam Grema, a 14-year-old male, presented with lower abdominal pain and difficulty urinating for 1 week. The pain was suprapubic, intermittent, and worsened during urination. They were referred by another doctor to UMD. He also had painful urination, increased urinary frequency, and occasional passage of blood-stained urine. His parents noticed straining while urinating and poor urine stream. There was no history of fever, vomiting, or flank pain. He had been well prior to the onset of symptoms. No previous urinary tract surgeries or known drug allergies. Diagnosis: bladder stone (vesical calculus). Surgical intervention (cystolithotomy) is planned, pending approval from the Helpster Charity Foundation.

Abdulsalam Grema,a 14 year-old boy, presented with a history of dysuria, accompanied by lower back pain. After thorough evaluation and investigation, he was diagnosed with Cystolithiasis(bladder stone).He underwent successful Cystolithotomy surgery without immediate complications. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 3 days for close monitoring and post-operative care. Sani recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, he is doing well, has fully recovered, and has resumed his regular activities. Abdulsalam is in painful distress due to the indwelling bladder stone that sometimes obstruct the urine passage and cause urinary retention. This leads to painful urination, abdominal pains, difficulty urinating, and sometimes blood in urine and occasional inability to pass urine. The size of the stone is Large and surgery is the only resort to remove the stone and as well to significantly improve his health status. Bladder stone removal surgery have good outcomes and prognosis if done appropriately and early.
