A Nephrolithiasis otherwise known as kidney stone is a solid mineralized deposits that consolidates in the kidneys. Kidney stone typically present with flank pain,lower back pain,scanty urination,difficulty in passing urine,bloody or cloudy urine,nausea and vomiting. renal stone disease, kidney stones form when one or more solid deposits of mineral and acid salts build up inside the kidneys. kidney stones (renal calculi) as a highly painful, common, and, in many cases, preventable condition, characterized by small mineral deposits that, when they move, can lead to severe agony but are usually treatable. He is currently stable but requires surgical removal of the stone to resolve the condition and prevent complications.

Background
Suleiman is a polite, hardworking, and resilient young man. He enjoys playing football, spending time with friends, and helping his family. He dreams of completing his education, building a successful future, and contributing positively to his community. Five days ago, Suleiman developed sudden right-sided flank pain with painful and frequent urination. Upon presentation at our hospital, he was evaluated and tests revealed blood in his urine and a kidney stone in the right renal pelvis. He was diagnosed with Right Kidney Stone. He is currently stable and awaiting surgical removal of the stone.
Medical history
Suleiman Baffa, a 19-year-old young man, was admitted on 16/01/2026 with a right kidney stone and underwent a successful nephrolithotomy (surgical removal of the kidney stone). He received appropriate postoperative care, pain management, and close medical monitoring. After five days in the hospital, Suleiman recovered well. His symptoms resolved, his kidney function improved, and he was discharged home in good condition, able to resume his normal daily activities. Prognosis
Suleiman is suffering from Kidney stone which in children causes intense pain (back, side, groin), nausea, vomiting, and blood in the urine, disrupting daily life; if untreated, they can lead to severe infections, blocked urine flow, and long-term kidney damage. Removal of the kidney stone is the best treatment option at this point due to the size of the stone, which is too large to pass through the urethra. The surgery is expected to have a good prognosis, as Hafsat does not have any underlying conditions that could interfere with the procedure.
