Background
Abubakar is a curious and energetic 13-year-old boy who enjoys sports, reading, and creative activities. He dreams of achieving his goals, helping others, and exploring new adventures. About a month ago, he developed sudden high-grade fever, weakness, headache, cough, nausea, and vomiting. He was diagnosed with severe malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum and an upper respiratory infection. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment and is currently under care and recovering.
Medical history
Abubakar, a 13-year-old boy, was admitted on 15/01/2026 with severe malaria and an upper respiratory infection. He received antimalarial medications, appropriate antibiotics, supportive care, and close medical monitoring. After three days in the hospital, Abubakar responded well to treatment. His symptoms resolved, he regained his strength, and he was discharged home in good condition, able to return to his normal daily activities. Prognosis
