Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About emergency care
The child has a bladder stone (vesical calculus), which is a hard deposit forming in the bladder. This causes lower abdominal pain, difficulty urinating, frequent urination, and occasional blood in the urine. The condition requires surgical removal to relieve symptoms and prevent complications.

Background
Iliya Ibrahim is a 19-year-old who is curious and imaginative. He enjoys reading, drawing, exploring, playing outdoors, and building things. He dreams of becoming an inventor or explorer, creating and discovering new things. Over the past two weeks, Iliya developed lower abdominal pain and difficulty urinating, along with urinary frequency and occasional blood in the urine. He was found to have a bladder stone (vesical calculus). He is currently stable but uncomfortable, with a palpable, full bladder, and is planned for surgical removal of the stone (cystolithotomy) once approved by the charity foundation.
Medical history
Iliya, a 19-year-old young man, was admitted on 17/12/2025 with a bladder stone and underwent a successful cystolithotomy (surgical removal of the bladder stone). He received appropriate postoperative care, pain management, and close medical monitoring. After five days in the hospital, Iliya recovered well. His pain resolved, he was able to urinate normally, and he was discharged home in good condition, ready to resume his normal daily activities. Thanks to Helpter Charity for sponsoring the treatment of Iliya.
Prognosis
Ibrahim has a bladder stone causing significant ill health and it's risks include chronic urinary tract infections (UTIs) and hematuria (blood in the urine), with the most serious long-term complication being permanent bladder wall scarring or kidney damage from backward pressure. The doctor’s prognosis is good if the bladder stone is surgically removed, and the child is expected to recover fully with relief from pain and normal urination. If left untreated, the stone could cause worsening pain, urinary obstruction, infections, and possible kidney damage, significantly affecting the child’s health and daily life.
