When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections
Severe malaria is a serious illness caused by mosquito bites. It leads to high fever, weakness, anemia, fits, and damage to organs if not treated quickly. Peptic ulcer disease is a sore in the stomach or upper intestine, often causing stomach pain, vomiting, or bleeding. It can be caused by infection or pain medicines. Chest infection affects the lungs and causes cough, fever, chest pain, and fast breathing. When these illnesses occur together, the patient becomes very weak and very sick. Early treatment with the right medicines, fluids, oxygen, and good care is very important for recovery and survival.

Background
Dantala is a 16-year old male teenager currently in a government school in his final grade. He wishes to join the army as he has wishes to protect lives and properties in his nation and the world. He is currently staying with his parents, the father is a farmer and the mother is a petty trader. They are all struggling to provide for the family. They stay in a 2 rooms apartment having a pit toilet, a well inside the compound and no access to electricity. Daantala a 16-yo- male teenager presented with complaints of headache, fever, cough, chest pain and vomiting, he also had associated body pain and abdominal pain. On examination, a young teenager, ill looking, febrile with temperature 38.7 degree Celsius, not jaundiced, acyanosed. He was diagnosed with peptic ulcer disease, severe malaria and a chest infection. The family could not take him to the hospital because because they have no money, Helpster Charity reached out to them through a volunteer. The child was admitted and thoroughly evaluated.
Medical history
Dantala a 16-yo- male teenager presented with complaints of headache, fever, cough, chest pain and vomiting, he also had associated body pain and abdominal pain. On examination, a young teenager, ill looking, febrile with temperature 38.7 degree Celsius, not jaundiced, acyanosed. He was diagnosed with peptic ulcer disease, severe malaria and achest infection. On admission, patient was commenced treatment on injection antimalarials, injection antibiotics and other supportive care until he was fully stable and state of recovery. He was discharged with oral medications and instructions to come back for follow up after one week. Family are overjoyed with such help and extended their gratitude to Helpster Chharity.
Prognosis
Dantata is suffering from a co-infection with Severe malaria, PUD, and Chest infection which is overwhelming to the body causing serious fever, pains, and unwell. The prognosis is good if treated early and properly. At 16 years, the body can respond well to treatment. With prompt antimalarial drugs, antibiotics for the chest infection, and medicines to heal the ulcer, Dantala will recover fully. Adequate fluids, nutrition, and monitoring improve outcomes. Delay in treatment will lead to serious complications such as severe anemia, bleeding from the ulcer, breathing problems, or organ failure. With early hospital care and follow-up, the chance of full recovery and return to normal activities is high for Dantala.
