Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About emergency care
Severe malaria is a life-threatening medical emergency caused by the Plasmodium falciparum parasite, resulting in serious complications like organ failure, seizures, or coma. It requires immediate hospitalization and treatment with intravenous artesunate to prevent death or long-term neurological damage. Typhoid fever is a life-threatening bacterial infection caused by Salmonella Typhi. It is primarily a human disease, spreading when a person ingests food or water contaminated with the feces or urine of an infected individual or a chronic carrier.

Prognosis
The child is suffering from severe malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, accompanied by typhoid. Symptoms include high fever with chills, headache, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, and body weakness. Physical exam showed mild spleen enlargement, and lab tests confirmed the infections and mild anemia. The doctor’s prognosis is that with prompt treatment, the child is likely to recover from severe malaria and typhoid without long-term complications. If left untreated, the illnesses could worsen rapidly, potentially leading to severe complications, organ failure, or even death.
