Rustom Ali is a five-day-old newborn whose tiny smiles and gentle movements have already filled his parents and family with love and hope. His family comes from a very limited financial background, making it impossible for them to afford the cost of urgent hospital care for a newborn with serious illness. When Rustom developed fever, cough, and breathing difficulty, his worried parents rushed him to the clinic, where doctors found a severe chest infection. Without proper treatment, his condition could worsen quickly, leading to breathing failure and putting his life at serious risk. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Sadika Rahman and now depends on this support to save their newborn and give him a chance at a healthy life.

Rustom Ali is a 5days-child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past few days, but this time, his condition worsened as he developed pneumonia. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his health continued to decline, leaving him lethargic and in a toxic state. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at City Clinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of his condition. Rustom was admitted on 21/01/26, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 25/01/26. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Rustom is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. With tears of gratitude in their eyes, his parents said, "Thank you to Helpster Donors and City Clinic, we are forever grateful for your support!"

Doctors have advised immediate hospitalization with oxygen support, antibiotics, and close monitoring to control the infection and help Rustom breathe properly. With timely and proper treatment, he has a strong chance of making a full recovery and growing up as a healthy child. Early care will prevent the infection from spreading further and protect his lungs and other vital organs. If left untreated, the infection can quickly worsen, leading to breathing failure, blood infection, or even death. Prompt medical treatment is therefore critical to save Rustom’s life and secure his future.
