Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Jully is an active child and very playful; it is easy to know when she is sick since she gets very dull. She was brought to the hospital after she developed a fever, cough and diarrhoea.

Medical history

Jully was admitted and taken care of by given treatment in inpatient. She progressed well, healed and was discharged

Prognosis

Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
