Sa’adatu is a curious and lively 7-year-old girl who enjoys playing, drawing, and exploring. She is friendly and imaginative, and she dreams of learning, helping others, and discovering new things. Sa’adatu developed a high-grade fever, chills, body weakness, headache, vomiting, and poor appetite over 3 days. Her parents noticed she became lethargic and less active than usual. She was diagnosed with severe malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum and currently shows moderate illness with fever and mild anemia, under medical care.

Sa'adatu, a 7-year-old girl, was admitted to the hospital with severe malaria. She received comprehensive treatment, including antimalarial medications, intravenous fluids, fever-reducing medications, and other supportive care. Throughout her admission, her blood parameters and vital signs were closely monitored to ensure a safe and steady recovery. She responded well to treatment, with gradual resolution of her fever, improved appetite, increased strength, and return to normal activity. After completing her treatment, Sa'adatu was discharged home in stable condition. She is expected to make a full recovery and resume her normal childhood activities without long-term complications.
