Two-year-old Rwuaida is a cheerful and lively child who lives with her parents, brother, and sister in a small rented tin-shed room. Her father earns only 8,000 BDT per month, which must support all five family members, leaving no savings for unexpected medical emergencies. Recently, what began as a simple cough and cold turned into severe pneumonia, causing fever and serious breathing difficulties that required urgent hospital admission. Without proper treatment, her condition could become life-threatening and put her young life at serious risk. The family learned about Helpster Charity from Dr. Munna at Narayanganj Poly Clinic, where other underprivileged patients have received support, and they are now seeking assistance to ensure Rwuaida receives the care she urgently needs.

Rwuaida 2 years -old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past few months, but this time, his condition worsened as he developed severe pneumonia. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his health continued to decline, leaving him lethargic and in a toxic state. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at Narayanganj Polyclinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of his condition. Rwuaida was admitted on 27/1/26, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 3/2/26. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Rwuaida is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. The patient was suffering from severe pneumonia, which posed a life-threatening risk and required immediate treatment. Upon admission, he received emergency care, including intramuscular antibiotics, nebulization, and oxygen support, as intravenous administration was not feasible due to repeated cannula displacement. If left untreated, this condition could have led to serious lung infections, respiratory failure, sepsis, and potentially death; however, I am pleased to report that the patient is now doing well and has returned to his normal daily life, bringing smiles to his parents' faces.
