Background
Ali is a 15-year-old boy who doesn't have parents and has had to move from his home, but he really likes playing soccer. He hopes to be a military officer one day. Five months ago, he started feeling pain on his right side near his lower back and had trouble when peeing. The doctors found out he has a kidney stone, but Ali couldn't afford the surgery needed to remove it.
Medical history
Ali Bukar, a 15-year-old boy, was diagnosed with renal stones and underwent surgery on January 7, 2024. Following a successful procedure, he was discharged on January 14, 2024. Since returning home, Ali has experienced significant improvement. He can now urinate without pain or discomfort and happily engages in soccer matches with his friends.
Prognosis
Larger stones might require more extensive treatment like using sound waves to break up the stone (lithotripsy), surgery to remove very large stones, or using a scope passed through the bladder to remove smaller stones.
