Sani Musa Daya is a 13-year-old boy from a displaced family living in an IDP camp, where life is difficult and resources are limited. Despite the challenges, he enjoys playing football, helping his mother, and dreams of becoming a doctor. A few days before hospital admission, Sani developed high fever, chills, headache, and severe weakness. He became pale, tired, and lost his appetite, growing too weak to play or carry out daily activities. Worried about his worsening condition, his parents rushed him to the hospital. Tests confirmed severe malaria with anemia. He was admitted and started on treatment, fluids, and close monitoring, giving him hope for recovery.

After falling seriously ill with fever, diarrhea,abdominal pain and headache, SANI struggled to keep up with school and daily life. His family, worried and without enough money for treatment, turned to Helpster Charity for support. Thanks to Helpster Charity, he was evaluated and investigated in UMD hospital and diagnosed with SEVERE MALARIA. He was admitted and had antimalarial drugs,intravenous fluids with other supportive treatment in the hospital for 3 days. Slowly, he recovered, symptoms subsided, and he regained his strength.He was discharged home with his parents, and he can enjoy his childhood and return to school. He is experiencing fever, loss of appetite, general body weakness, and vomiting.He appears moderately dehydrated and very uncomfortable. Prompt treatment of acute malaria, is crucial to prevent serious complications. Treatment of severe Plasmodiasis have good prognosis and health status will significantly improve to enable him to return back to school for his studies and re-unit with his peers at school.
