David is the second-born in a family of five siblings. He is a partial orphan and lives with his mother in a village near the nearby town. His father passed away when the children were still young, leaving the family in a difficult economic situation. His mother, who is a housewife, struggles to support David and his siblings and ensure they attend school, although they are sometimes sent home due to unpaid school fees. David is currently a Grade Eight pupil and serves as the school captain. Despite frequently missing school due to illness, he remains one of the top-performing students in his class. He has a great passion for football and hopes to develop his talent further in the future. David also dreams of becoming a teacher when he grows up. David was in good health until a few days ago when he began feeling unwell. He was later brought to the health facility by the school nurse after staff from the facility had previously visited the school to create awareness about HELPSTER CHARITY. About two weeks earlier, David had developed pelvic rashes accompanied by swelling and painful blisters that caused significant irritation. He initially visited a local dispensary where he was prescribed antibiotics, but his condition did not improve and instead continued to worsen.

David was brought to the facility complaining of pelvic rashes, swelling and painful micturition. He was admitted started on I.V ibrufen, I.M dinave, I. V hydrocortisone,cetrizine and Flagyl. He showed great improvement and third day allowed to go home.

Genitourinary candidiasis has an excellent prognosis with appropriate antifungal like Fluconazole.If left untreated can lead to systemic infection which can later complicate to urinary obstruction,fungus balls and pyelonephritis.David presented with rash around the genitals that were itchy and appeared septic and painful,was treated with both antifungal and antibiotics,He responded well and was discharged home in a stable condition. The prognosis for genitourinary candidiasis is generally very good when treated promptly with antifungal medication. David is expected to recover fully once he completes the prescribed treatment and follows the recommended hygiene practices. However, close follow-up is important to ensure the infection clears completely and to prevent recurrence
