Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

An umbilical hernia occurs when part of a patient's intestine bulges through the opening in the patient's abdominal muscles near your bellybutton (navel). Inguinal hernia is a type of groin hernia. It occurs when abdominal tissue pushes through the lower abdominal wall into your groin.

Background
The boy's family are were displaced by the Boko haram insurgency that affected their village. While in an internally displaced camp, his parents noticed the swelling around his penis area in September 2022 and took him to a clinic, where he was diagnosed with umbilical hernia and an inguinal hernia. Due to the high cost of the two hernia surgeries, they were unable to proceed with the surgery.
Medical history
The father's remark. I appreciate and acknowledge the effort of Helpster for the timely assistance rendered to my family when I was in serious distress. Now, we have a course to celebrate following the successful surgery carried out on my child, Abubakar, on the 12th January, 2023. I equally thank the management of UMD MEDICAL CLINIC and the entire surgery team for their sacrifices as money can't compensate them for the care rendered to his child. However, there are many children who are having similar health issues but are lacking the financial strength to cater for their children, may Helpster extend this kind gesture to them so that they will also live a healthy and happy life. Prognosis
The patient was assessed thoroughly and diagnosed of symptomatic umbilical hernia and right congenital hernia. He needs Hernia repair.
